Welcom to the Hall of Fame
The characters immortalised here inspired the first generation of Blitz Softballers. They helped build our great ball club. They made their mark.
They inspired us: on the field, off in the field, in the bar. They made our dreams ( and in some cases nightmares) come true.
Now, they cap their careers with the greatest play of all: they made it to the Blitz Hall of Fame!
How it works
Every year, one or more players are put forward for induction into the hall of fame.
The committee will gather under a full moon at the end of the season to discuss and vote.
Nominees inducted into the Hall of Fame will be announced at the annual Blitz AGM.
Once inducted, the player will be celebrated like the legends they are, and their achievement will live on in this digital book of records.

Tom "Chewie" Flack - 76
2011 - 2015
Chewie was the first-ever captain of a Blitz team. Back then it was one team.

Brian "B-Rye" Griffiths - 5
2011 - 2017
B-Ry was the first president of the club. He played from the inception of the club up until 2017, where he decided to hang up his boots and settle up North
